Two-material Sea Turtles Drawing Session

With cohost Min Lee! 🍓 🐢

I had such a nice time drawing sea turtles with y’all! Thank you to Min Lee for cohosting! Also, special shoutout and hugs to Becca and family.

We started each image with two materials, then at the end, we added more. I love working this way and got so much more drawing done! The best part was seeing everyone’s wonderful art at the end — so inspiring!

I’ll be back on at 3pm to draw Creepy Sea Creatures

Pop in if you wanna! We’ll sketch a barracuda, viperfish, bobtail squid, long-arm octopus, and more creepy creatures from the abyss!

Also, we’re planning a meetup at the Urban Sketchers Symposium next August. Add it to your calendar and let’s sketch together in Toronto!

Here are my sea turtles & materials:

My new favorite pencil… PICKLE!

Can’t wait to come back to this one. Does an eraser count as a material if I’m drawing with it? ;)

If you liked this session, try the Charming Character workshop to turn your turtles into anthropomorphic character.
