This was a very special drawing session.
Mostly because everyone made lovely, inspiring art and we got to chat with Andy J. Pizza. But also because it was my very first power outage in a session! I’m glad I checked the “mobile hotspot” box when I signed up for my internet plan.
We all brought our own reference images, or drew from imagination. I sketched a few scrappy squirrels from an old field guide before dressing them up in clothes. I shared some tips in Draw Yourself as an Animal post.
