Sketching in New York City

A proper sketchbook tour

Here’s a picture of my first visit to New York City:

That’s me and my cousin on the left. Me again on the right, after climbing the Statue of Liberty.

At six years old, FAO Schwarz was easily the highlight of that trip.

Here’s me in NYC thirty-something years later.

I returned with the same childlike wonder, carrying a backpack full of art supplies and sketchbooks. Here are a few of many highlights and sketches from my recent trip!
