Every Wednesday I share my screen time numbers. Sometimes I don’t get a single reply. And that’s GREAT! That tells me it’s working. Or that people don’t want to read about the unsexy topic of how I’m resisting distractions. I share these metrics for personal accountability. It’s for me.
It’s doing something because my numbers are lower than they’ve ever been. And I’m finishing the final art for this book five days early!

YouTube shorts are my stress relief weakness 🤣. But Instagram is definitely up there on the list of apps I use too much as well. This weekend I tried keeping my phone in another room for the whole day and it was so nice! Highly recommend trying it (as I read and type this on my phone 😂)
I only have substack on my phone. I read a few articles and I’m done. I have the “onesec” app that forces me to meditate or take a quiz in another language if I try to access social media.
It’s taken half a year but my screen time is way down and my sanity is up.
