Lots of zoo sketches, failed experiments, a few things I liked!

This is my favorite drawing from one of the two small sketchbooks I used in April and May. I was in a pretty lame mood before I painted these duck. Drawing them put me in a more positive headspace. Thank you, ducks.

I got inspired while searching for fun images of animals for a drawing session and found this one that I liked.

I found the this photo while searching for images for the flora & fauna drawing session. Now I’m a bit suspicious that it’s an AI-generated photo, but I guess that’s beside the point.

This is maybe my favorite from this sketchbook, because I really didn’t like the colors but found ways to feel connected to it by adding my own characters. I’m also intrigued by grocery stores, but more on that later. I made it for the #3materialsdrawingchallenge, which I wrote a bigger post you can read below.
