Storyboarding session with Sarah Dyer
Half an hour of co-working followed by working and chatting together.
First off, Happy Monday.
I waited to send this so we could keep you company and ease you into the workweek!1 Press play for 30 minutes of coworking, or skip to 32.57 minutes to listen to us chat about sketchbooks, mapcrunching and all sorts of other fun topics while you work.
In this session, I storyboarded 1/4th of a book in an hour. The thumbnails for the book I’m under contract on took fourteen hours, so I’d say coworking works well for storyboarding. It helped me get out of my head and onto the page with minimal overthinking or being bogged down by details. I’m excited for the next one on April 4!
Many thanks to our magnificent cohost, Sarah Dyer. Go join her Patreon, where she shares so many gems from her experience in illustration and picturebooks.
