I love the Good Ship classes! I'm definitely including them in a round up of classes I've taken and loved. Really can't wait for the next course. Thanks, Binski! 💞

Hollie Chastain’s Patreon is great (and so is she)! You get 2-3 zoom sessions a week and her backlog of virtual workshops on collage, paper weaving and developing your style.

Love all Draw Brighton (https://www.patreon.com/DrawBrighton) and Frances Ives (https://www.patreon.com/francesives)! I also plan to join Becca Hall (https://www.patreon.com/Beccahallillustration). And hopefully I'll gain a community of patrons myself, but all in good time:)

I love Draw Brighton! I’ve been wanting to join Frances’ for a while and yours too! After October I should have a bit more play time.

Frances is the queen of materials! My problem is that I like so many Patreons, at the moment I spend more than I earn at Patreon 😅

But it’s a lot of fun so it’s worth it 😊

Thank you! I know if I had sat down to draw a bike, it would look totally different. But the timed session made me think quickly. I think I just squeezed some watercolor paint right onto the page and started mixing. 😆

I’ve started a weekly livestream on YouTube that you might enjoy called ART HANG PARTY!, where each week we do timed drawings of a particular subject (ie. trees, hands, fish, houses, etc.). It’s fast-paced and a lot of fun! They are Thursday’s at 7pm ET, and the replays stay up on my channel (https://www.youtube.com/@melissamartinart/streams) so you can follow along at a later date. It’s also a really lovely community that comes to draw together and support each other.

I hope this doesn’t sound too self-promotion-y - I’m only mentioning it because I honestly think you’d love it! 🤗💖✨
