We have two delightful drawing sessions on Saturday!
I’m fresh off a book deadline and ready to play with some new supplies. We’re drawing from a couple of books I borrowed from the library.
First up, we have 2-material Sea Turtles at 10am EST.
I love minimizing materials so much that I’m dedicating an entire session to simplifying supplies! My friend Min Lee is joining as co-host!
Fun material combinations for this session:
Marker + water soluble pencil
Graphite + paint stick
Paint + neocolor
I have four images for us to draw from, so we can change up material pairings between turtles. I’ll give us a bit of time at the end to add more materials or details. And then….
We’re drawing Kinda Creepy Sea Creatures at 3pm.
Aside from being the perfect sketching subject on Halloween, the textures and expressions of these fish are begging to be drawn.
Fun ideas for this session:
Use wet materials only
Draw with your nondominant hand
Sketch with oil pastels, then add a wash of dark watercolor over the top
Wondering what to expect in our live sessions? Here’s a video with all the details!
