I used my old drawing as reference.

Sometimes just mixing primary colors can spark something fun from your imagination. That’s what happened when I posted this paint mixing video.

I still love cool yellows and warm blues more than any other colors. I made the video below to follow up and see how they look mixed together with a warm red.

3 reasons to mix it up

  • The way you mix colors is personal and gives your work individuality.

  • Deepen your knowledge of color theory and how hues play together.

  • Mixing two paints to create a new color is as close as we can get to making magic without cooking.
